Soldiers, family members and civilians convened, Aug. 26, to celebrate Women’s Equality Day with a luncheon, hosted by the 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, themed “Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Women’s Right to Vote,” at Pershing Community Center.

“Today, our country renews its commitment to freedom and justice of all its citizens. As we prepare to celebrate this women’s day of equality, we reflect on the sacrifices made to allow women and girls the basic rights and choices we freely exercise today,” said Command Sgt. Maj. Angelia Flournoy of the 92nd Military Police Battalion, 4th MEB, during the proclamation.
